We currently have a great opportunity available for aSpecialist, Transportation and Equipment Logistics. The Transportation and Equipment Logistics Specialist will coordinate and execute the different transportation and equipment related operations. Coordinate performance and daily interactions with carriers as well as meeting internal and external customer needs cost effectively while enhancing service quality. Responsible for identifying and implementing ongoing process improvement activities as well as cost reduction opportunities. Responsible for driving customer communication improvements as well as focusing on supporting the Sysmex brand and enhancing customer experience. Responsible to maintain and collect data points to ensure proper management of transportation and equipment operations and operational cost. Responsible to maintain ongoing touchpoints with the other departments engaged with logistics to ensure that solid communication channels are in place and drive process improvement opportunities with those teams. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Coordinate logistic operations as well as diligently resolve logistical challenges to support ongoing business. Responsible for processing deliveries for each customer contract. Travel Percentage: 5% Physical Demands: Light physical effort. Routine handling of objects up to 20 pounds; prolonged (at least 50% of time) sitting, standing, keyboard or CRT work. May require periods of moderate discomfort due to noise, dust, lighting and/or other conditions. Qualifications
Associates degree in a related field or 3-5 years required experience in transportation with demonstrated knowledge in domestic and international shipments. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
The salary range for this role is $67,200 to $105,600. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The total compensation package for this position also includes a choice of health care plan (medical, vision, and dental insurance), an annual incentive bonus, paid time off, parental leave, bereavement leave and a 401(K) for all eligible employees.
