Description
Accountability: The CNC Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair CNC machines at Mazak Corporation's Headquarters in Florence, KY. This is a second shift position. The hours for this role are M-TH 3:30pm-2am. Scope and Responsibilities: Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following: * Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines and accessories * Perform preventative maintenance tasks * Test operation of machines and accessories * Complete reports documenting installation, assessment of reported problem, repairs completed, and parts installed * Utilize various test equipment for trouble shooting purpose, indicators, test bars, clamp force, gages, etc. Education/Certification: * High School Diploma or equivalent is required * 2 yr. Manufacturing degree or Vocational School is preferred Skills: * Strong electrical background * Proven mechanical aptitude with Mechanical Aptitude test * Previous experience with troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines * Experience with machine alignments and levelling * Experience with test equipment including electrical meters * Ability to work in high pressure situations * Good written and verbal communication skills * Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive daily basis. * Heavier lifting in excess of 50lbs on periodic basis * Ability to problem solve depending on situation.
