Human Resources Summer Internship Opportunity:

Alliance Technical Group is filling a Human Resources Summer Internship position. The role offers the opportunity to join a growing company while developing your own career. This is a full-time paid internship at our corporate office located in Decatur, AL.

If you are interested in kickstarting your career in Human Resources and getting a closer look at how our company approaches Talent Operations, HR Delivery, Total Rewards, Learning & Talent Management, HR Project Management, and Inclusion & Diversity among others, we'd like to meet you. While every intern's summer is unique, you'll be a part of a team working on various projects based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to support a variety of functions within the HR team and work on projects that benefit our workforce alongside our HR Professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms
• Prepare HR-related reports as needed (like training budgets by department)
• Address employee queries about benefits (like number of remaining vacation days)
• Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies
• Participate in organizing any company events
• Assist with any other HR-related job duties as needed

Requirements and skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Etc.,.)
• Basic knowledge of labor legislation and HR functions
• A sophomore, junior, or senior working towards a degree in Human Resources Management or similar field
