Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Update daily Production Schedule.

2. Daily start up and shut down of Plant Operations.

3. Enforce safety and quality policies and procedures.

4. Review training needs.

5. Ensure efficiency of machine operation.

6. Direct machine operators to operate machinery required and assist them in set-up and inspection as well as completion of first piece and final inspections.

7. Limited Human Resource work and translation where required.

8. Provide assistance as required to other areas including: engineering, quoting, production, shipping, receiving, etc.

9. Monitor performance of machine operators and recommend for disciplinary action or retraining if required.

10. Continuous Improvement ideas. *

11. Monitoring of Inventory, maintain "First in, first out".

12. Communicate employee concerns and requests to management.

13. Inform operators of company policies and management intent.

14. Adheres to 5S methods and practices.

15. All other duties as assigned by the management. *

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, preferred. Ability to apply basic concepts of basic algebra and geometry, preferred.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
