General Summary of Position: The Finance Department at the Robert J. Manning School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is accepting applications for a non-tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor to start Fall of 2025. The position is renewable annually, potentially leading to an appointment of Associate Teaching Professor following five consecutive years of excellent performance evaluations. The Manning School of Business boasts a vibrant community of approximately 4,000 undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and grad certificate students and holds accreditation from AACSB International. Situated in a modern facility equipped with cutting-edge classrooms and a dedicated Trading Room housing 20 Bloomberg terminals, the school offers an unparalleled learning environment. Nestled just 30 miles northwest of Boston, UMass Lowell, with its expansive campus, serves as the second-largest public university in Massachusetts, catering to over 18,000 students. UMass Lowell recently earned the Carnegie Mellon R1 Research classification. The Finance Department offers Ph.D. and MS degrees in Finance, a Finance concentration in the MBA, and a Finance concentration in the BSBA program. The incoming candidate would be expected to teach three courses per semester and to engage in departmental service. Service would include student advising, mentoring, and recruiting, supporting undergraduate co-curricular activities, and managing the trading room. The successful candidate could also be appointed as the Director of Undergraduate Student Success, which provides an additional stipend. Minimum Qualifications (Required):
