Spire is seeking a Senior Analyst to support regulatory work for our Missouri utilities and work in our St. Louis, MO office. This position will be responsible to assist in all elements of state regulation for Missouri including research and analysis, forecasting and modelling, preparation and filing of regulatory requirements and pleading and will work in coordination with other functional areas in the company to help support efforts related to rate recovery and compliance with the rules and regulations of the Missouri Public Service Commission (MPSC). Duties and Responsibilities
Support the preparation and filing of base rate proceedings, including ISRS, and related reporting requirements in the Missouri jurisdiction. Communicates with the MPSC Staff, Office of Public Counsel and other entities regarding various filings. Provides testimony, if needed, in General Rate Case filings or other regulatory filings. Assist in the timely and accurate completion of numerous special projects assigned to the department. Such projects can be of a financial as well as a non-financial nature and often require manipulation of large amounts of data. Collaborates with internal departments on various programs to ensure correct rates are being maintained. Provide modeling support in conjunction with the Financial Planning & Analysis group to optimize timing and manage expected outcomes of regulatory treatment and rate filings. Monitor and research regulatory trends in the industry and provide update memos and support analysis for consideration by leadership. Ensure compliance with all affiliated transaction rules relate to cost allocation, including transparent and timely filing of the Cost Allocation Manual (CAM) annual report. Work with various functions in the Company to support data requests and inquiries by Staff, OPC or intervenors to address any related questions or issues. Essential Characteristics and Competencies

Bachelor's degree in business related discipline (Accounting, Finance, Economics) Required knowledge, skill and abilities
Five-years work experience in a financial planning, corporate accounting or similar role Regulatory affairs experience a plus Strong knowledge of general business concepts and practices Ability to perform computer modeling and forecasting Ability to develop informative and persuasive business presentations Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Ability to perform research and investigations Ability to work on projects independently and lead by example Strong written and oral communication skills Physical demands, environment and schedule
Hybrid remote/office work environment. When in office there is a shared office environment. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some additional hours may be required as needed to meet certain deadlines, primarily during rate case preparations and negotiation. Occasional travel is required. Posting Requirements
