SUMMARY

Munters is seeking a motivated individual to join our Finance and Operations team.

This position will play a dual role - 80% Cycle Counting / Inventory validation, and 20% Operations support for Spare Parts Sales.

Cycle Counting: Execute the Tactical Materials strategy in accordance with corporate policies, strategic plans & goals. Utilize ERP / MRP systems and reporting tools applicable while adhering to the Materials related policies, procedures, and best practices to the organization and ensure compliance with same. Work closely with the Inventory-Data Analyst Supervisor, Production Manager, and Finance to ensure efficient and effective processes. Perform root-cause analysis associated with inventory variances and facilitate appropriate corrective measures. Inform management of significant materials and inventory issues affecting the company.

Operations Support: This position will serve as operations support to Customer Service and Spare Parts sales by validating and pulling the inventory, generate shipping labels, and package the items needed to fulfill orders on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement the local cycle count program, ensure compliance, and calculate the necessary adjustments to eliminate inventory variances
  • Monitor and provide feedback regarding inventory levels to Materials Team
  • Generate reports from ERP / MRP software to distribute to Accounting, Sales, Operations, etc.
  • Provide support to receiving and maintenance groups on an as needed basis.
  • Respond to requests from Customer Service for inventory spot counts that assist with the determination in customer claims / shipping errors
  • Current valid forklift license.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Business Unit Controller and Inventory-Data Analyst Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 1-2 years of experience with Industrial / Manufacturing Inventory
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with cross-departmental support
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with other departments and provide creative solutions to existing or emerging challenges
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Hands on knowledge of Material Requirements (MRP) systems and strong Microsoft Office skills.

PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to perform sedentary work to light physical labor. Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to move objects.
