Job Summary As a Senior Catering Manager at the New York Stock Exchange, you will be responsible for executing catered events. This position is 60% operations and 40% administrative. You will manage a team of up to 30 associates. This position is Monday through Friday but requires evening availability. Shifts are generally scheduled between 10am-10pm- some flexibility is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manages catering events. Coordinated event logistics, ensures brand standards and operational excellence for all events. Works closely with the management team to coordinate food and facility needs Hires and trains associates in service techniques Assists with cost controls and operational efficiency per client and company budgets Builds and maintains outstanding client relationships Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: 2 years of food service experience including 1 year of supervisory experience Catering experience Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations. Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
