WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- This is an opportunity to be a core member of the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) team as a Planning Manager supporting Data Solutions products at our Anoka, MN site. The primary purpose of this role is to lead strategy and execution of the production planning function to achieve business goals. This role will lead a growing team of production planning analysts, and will drive optimization of our production planning processes.
- Drive strategy development and execution of the production planning function supporting nVent's Data Solutions products.
- Lead the growing team of production planning analysts supporting nVent's Data Solutions operations at our Anoka, MN site.
- Partner with operations, supply, design, lean, SIOP, and platform management to grow Data Solutions volume and meet customer objectives.
- Determine efficient schedules and planning methods to meet business objectives. Implement improvements with Kanbans, level schedules, and production flow.
- Enhance and optimize production planning processes with the existing ERP system.
- Build-out advanced reporting and analytics to improve product flow; proactively identify and address bottlenecks in production process
- Lead improvement projects and initiatives in the broader planning organization.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- 5+ years of manufacturing planning experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Ideally, 2+ years,s of management experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- ERP experience - JDE experience preferred
- Advanced skills using MS Office Suite applications
- Experience using data visualization tools in systems such as Tableau, Power BI
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across different levels of the organization and with external partners

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00
