DIVISION:

U.S. Energy POSITION SUMMARYThe BI Analyst I will support the U.S. Energy Finance team and deliver a portfolio of reporting and analytical solutions that provide business value. This position will work together with Data Analysts to leverage data insights, statistical techniques, and data science to effectively identify, prioritize and create data driven solutions.

This position will work on-site in Appleton, WI with occasional hybrid flexibility. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Effectively manage requirements, tasks and stakeholders to deliver value on time, within scope and to specification.
  • Work closely with internal process owners and other team members to ensure understanding and communication of data needs and acceptance criteria.
  • Create reports and data visualizations to achieve strategic objectives
  • Present recommendations to varying levels of management
  • Follow quality assurance practices to ensure high value work
  • Identify and solve technical problems with minor supervision
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or similar discipline is preferred.
  • 1+ year of business related experience.
  • Business intelligence experience working with reporting platforms to create reports and dashboards. Experience working with financial or energy commodity data a strong plus.
  • Experience taking large quantities of data and transforming them into actionable. insights that are presented to a diverse audience of stakeholders.
  • Able to complete data sourcing, cleansing and preparation tasks.
  • Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Can work independently or collaboratively with a cross functional team.
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative, agile team.
