Maintenance Technician

Marvin Composites is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician at our Fargo, ND location. Marvin Composites is looking for individuals with a desire to contribute to an innovation-driven organization. In this role, you'll help keep our facility and equipment running efficiently. You'll take on a variety of tasks-troubleshooting, repairing, ordering parts-and play a key role in maintaining our high standards of quality. You'll also have the opportunity to take ownership of your work and see the direct impact of your contributions.

* Provide timely support, root cause determination, and good follow-up on maintenance issues
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and systems
* Plan work effectively, coordinating with production & leadership to ensure success
* Order parts as needed to keep our equipment running smoothly
* Monitor and maintain facility equipment to minimize downtime and scrap
* Continuously improve equipment, processes, methods, etc, to drive innovation

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 6:45 PM

Week 1 (36hrs): Sun, Wed, Thur
• Week 2 (48hrs): Mon, Tues, Fri, Say

Work 7 out of 14 days every two weeks. Every other weekend is a 3 day weekend off!!

Pay:

Base rate: $24-37/hr + $4.00/hr weekend premium

Effective wage potential (base+weekend premium+OT): $27.05 - $40.67 / hr

pay based on experience

* A two-year technical degree or a comparable level of knowledge and skills acquired through relevant work experience
* Ability to perform accurate and thorough work with attention to detail
* Electrical and Mechanical skills
* Familiarity with automated equipment; exposure to PLCs or control systems is a plus
