TheConsumer Insights Analyst III works closely with all departments and is responsible for integrating data from multiple sources, managing projects, developing visualizations and providing analytical output to advance data- driven insights across the enterprise. This role will have a significant focus on analyzing syndicated industry data, performing space to sales analysis, and supporting retail and consumer insights initiatives. They must be a proactive business partner and category and consumer expert, delivering the "so what" and "now what" from our consumer learning.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Retail and Consumer Insights: Deliver market, consumer, and category insights based on sales and market data.
  • Analyze Syndicated Industry Data:Utilize data from sources such as Circana to identify industry and consumer trends.
  • Space to Sales Analysis:Perform analysis to optimize product placement and sales performance.
  • Develop Visualizations:Design and architect advanced data visualizations using various BI tools, including dashboards, charts/graphs, and data models.
  • Data-Driven Insights:Build analytical stories from data points, prepare comprehensive reports, and present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Storytelling with Data: Proven ability to translate data into insights via storytelling that supports category goals. Perform ad hoc analysis with large data sets to call out and present key actionable insights.
  • Project Management:Manage multiple projects, adjust quickly to changing business needs, and produce project documentation.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with internal departments to gather requirements, provide status updates, and support post-implementation of self-service analytics. Heavy collaboration with internal Sales & Marketing teams to accomplish initiatives.
  • Communication:Communicate effectively with stakeholders, inform SMEs of progress and results, and guide understanding of complicated data sets.
  • Data Operations: Own data extraction and loading for weekly performance reporting from vendors such as Circana.
  • Other duties may be assigned, directed or requested.

What You Will Need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required.
  • One (1) year of experience with Syndicated data sets (Circana) is preferred.
  • Four (4) years of experience working with large data sets is preferred.
  • Knowledge of enterprise reporting and analysis tools (Power BI, Power Query, SQL) is preferred.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities to assess current situation, draw conclusions and envision future business opportunities.
  • Problem solving skills with ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Team oriented, hardworking, open-minded, and flexible.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to speak with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret, and also to prepare documents such as instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to create and write reports.
  • Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to do statistical analysis.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems including variables.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Salary: $90,000.00 - $97,000.00
