Your Role on Our Team

The Distribution Replenishment Manager role owns the distribution level supply chain including the development of strategies, policies, and high-level objectives. Further, they are an experienced self-directed leader with a high level of competence that independently develops & executes a vision to maintain a top performing supply chain organization utilizing industry best practices. In addition, they build a cohesive team, develop the skills and talent of others, and align the team's activities with distribution leadership to achieve Milwaukee Tool business objectives.

To be successful, the Supply Chain Manager will have a deep understanding of enterprise management planning (ERP) software and strong functional knowledge, as well as a sound mixture of strategic operations, collaboration, and excellent communication skills in concert with lean thinking.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee distribution replenishment planning process, managing planning parameters, and working with cross functional teams to manage risk.
  • Reviewing performance and directing optimization projects to improve service levels, inventory days on hand, and distribution efficiencies through picking unit of measure optimization and replenishment order frequencies.
  • Manage adjustments to plans as necessary, including shortages/overages, rebalancing inventory plans, and other exception management style activities within the ERP system.
  • Analyze trends, root cause, develop action plans, and track various monthly KPIs.
  • Investigate ERP functionality to optimize the supply chain and operations and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaboration with other supply chain groups to facilitate management of risks.
  • Maintain metrics/scorecards on KPI's, including service level, building level inventory targets, and E&O inventory.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training and ensure continued employee growth through development.
  • Champion supply chain tools and methodologies and is a recognized subject matter expert (SME) and Super User.
  • Working with cross functional teams to identify opportunities to improving planning and process for better outcomes.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree required in a business-related field and a minimum of 5-8 years Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment in addition to a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

  • APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP)
  • Six Sigma/Lean Training
  • Oracle ERP Experience
