Hot Inspector

Job Description Summary

A hot inspector is pulling hot parts during production and performing measurement on them.

Job Description

1. Complete job specific check sheets to demonstrate compliance and/or noncompliance to visual and dimensional specifications per Control Plan requirements

2. Record production and create bar code label for product traceability

3. Authorized and empowered to stop production cell that is producing discrepant material

4. Quarantine all material produced after discrepant material is identified back to last known conforming material

5. Disposition, disposal, and recording of scrap from each assigned production cell

6. Assist production and/or quality management in problem solving activities

7. Maintain clean and safe work environment

Required Skills and Education

Experience with measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers. Able to stand for 10 hours. This will be a 3rd shift position.
