Here's what you'd do:

  • Develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

  • Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules may be subject to change in order to meet company needs and business requirements.
  • Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.
  • Prepares personnel forecast to project employment needs.
  • Supervise and provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budgets and labor relations
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations; consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state laws
  • Motivating and supporting HR staff
  • Creating and implementing employee relations policies to help increase employees' job satisfaction
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • To carry out supervisory responsibility in accordance with the organization's policy and applicable laws.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Directly supervises four employees in the Human Resources.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Listens and gets clarification.
  • Delegates' work assignments.
  • Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
  • Uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Follows instructions and responds to management direction.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 4 years of Human Resource experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Able to read and interpret written information.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
