Pay is depending on experience. Minimum is $59,010.55 annually, $2,269.64 bi-weekly

Position Overview:

As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will be the backbone of our daily branch operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll work hand-in-hand with the Branch Manager to lead a talented team, drive branch goals, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain a fun, collaborative work environment! You'll be directly involved in coaching, mentoring, and growing the team while also getting the chance to implement strategies that help the branch thrive.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead with Excellence: Guide and inspire your team to deliver Superior Customer First Service that'll wow every customer.

  • Manage Operations: You'll be in charge of opening/closing the branch, ensuring security, keeping supplies in check, and making sure everything is running like a well-oiled machine.

  • Cash Control Pro: You'll handle cash management, ensuring cash drawers are balanced and meet all security guidelines.

  • Drive Growth: Be the go-to person for relationship-building and growth! You'll support existing customers, prospect new ones, and assist in increasing the branch's deposit and loan growth.

  • Coach & Mentor: Develop a positive, team-oriented environment through continuous coaching and training to help staff shine.

  • Sales and Service Superstar: Sell products that make a difference to our customers, help with consumer loans, and be an expert in our services.

  • Efficiency Expert: Analyze transaction volumes and staff productivity to keep the branch performing at its best.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience:

    • Assistant Branch Manager I: 3+ years of experience in financial institutions, including 2 years in a supervisory role.

    • Assistant Branch Manager II: 5+ years of experience in financial institutions, including 2 years in business operations.

  • Education: High school diploma (or equivalent). Bonus points for relevant education or military experience.

  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. A knack for problem-solving and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease.

  • Certifications: State of Alaska Life Insurance License and FINRA Series 65/66 are a plus. You may also need to meet specific licensing and compliance requirements.
