Urgently hiring a Patient Registrar in Burbank with a TOP hospital. Must have: * 1-2 years of registration experience within the medical field * insurance knowledge * Rotating weekends Description The patient access/registrar is responsible for assisting with Patient Admitting for scheduled appointments. The candidate must be willing and able to use computer system. EPIC experience is a plus, updating patient demographics, and verifying that all authorizations for visit has been processed and approved . Skills Patient scheduling, Patient information, Insurance verification, Patient demographics, Patient registration Additional Skills & Qualifications Patient Access, Emergency Department Admitting, Referrals healthcare/ hospital registration experience, insurance knowledge, computer use knowledge, open availability, and willingness to learn different registration areas Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
