Job Title: Senior RF/Electrical Engineer

Location: Ashburn, VA

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior RF/Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ashburn, VA. The Senior RF/Electrical Engineer serves as the subject matter expert on EW for the program. Their primary function is to serve as the technical advisor to the Program Office on all Sponsor technical decisions. The Sponsor anticipates travel to be approximately 10 percent of the year to CONUS locations.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related engineering field degree) from an

    Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program.
  • Five years of experience with RF propagation modeling and RF spectrum analysis.
  • Five years of experience integrating long-range camera systems, to include visual and

    infrared spectrums), radar systems, radio frequency (RF) systems, and other sensor

    systems related to UAS, cUAS, and RCIEDs.
  • Five years of experience in the testing and evaluation of new technology, system design,

    and requirements development complex technical systems.
  • Five years of experience with fiber optics, ethernet, or microwave systems for content

    delivery and control.
  • Five years of experience in technical electronics testing and maintenance utilizing

    spectrum analyzers, signal generators, voltage meters, network and cable continuity and

    verification test equipment.
  • Five years of experience in briefing preparation, presentation, and delivery of verbal and

    visual reports to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Desired Qualifications:



  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering (or an equivalent engineering field

    degree) from an ABET accredited program.
  • Experience related to installation, testing, and maintenance of both fixed site and mobile

    UAS and RCIED platforms.
  • Experience with installation of systems at domestic and overseas facilities utilizing fiber

    optics, ethernet, and microwave systems for content delivery and control.
  • Service in the foreign field to include hostile, austere, and denied areas and conflict

    zones.
  • Experience in the development of Human-machine interface (HMI) requirements for

    system control and situational awareness display(s).
  • Experience managing, providing guidance, and being responsible for the work of other

    RF/Electrical engineer(s).
  • Experience building Artificial Intelligence capabilities


Security Clearance Requirement:



  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
