Title: Critical Rotating Equipment Analyst
Location: Freeport, TX

Salary: $98,000 - $140,000
Schedule: 4-10s

Focus: The Critical Rotating Equipment Analyst is responsible for maintaining a keen focus on reliability improvement for their assigned scope of responsibility to minimize the long-term cost of ownership.

The Freeport site is the single largest chlor alkali complex in the world with more than 1,000 employees. The chemical products produced at our Freeport location include chlorine and caustic soda, vinyls, epoxies, chlorinated organics, aromatics, bleach, hydrogen, and hydrochloric acid.

Critical Rotating Equipment Analyst Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, implementing repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Effectively coach contractor workforce and direct Olin employees in execution of maintenance work on critical rotating equipment in assigned equipment area; develop & leverage PPM best practices and procedures to guide work in assigned equipment area.
  • Review spare parts list for existing equipment and work with MRO to ensure parts are identified, added, and stocked in the MRO system in support of the maintenance strategy.
  • Serve as a technical resource to the maintenance planners on work packages.
  • Oversee and perform Quality Control on OEM or outside shop repairs, local and out of state.

Critical Rotating Equipment Analyst Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant mechanical / maintenance experience in turbomachinery and related rotating equipment; experience in a chemical manufacturing facility preferred
  • Experience with Turnaround maintenance work processes preferred
  • Experience in a direct or indirect leadership role preferred
  • Proficient use of SAP preferred
  • Must be able to communicate and report, written and orally, in an effective manner
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
