Description
Burlington Industries, a leader in producing military fabrics, is looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join its manufacturing operation in Raeford, NC. The primary functions of this position are to maintain and fabricate new steel fixtures and jigs which are used in the operating systems of the facility. This is done using electric arc welding equipment, ox/acetylene torch and minor forming tools. Rod Welding (stick), Mig and Welding mild steels to inch. This position is part of our Maintenance Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Excellent Benefit Package Work Environment and Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet conditions, hot and cold environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move throughout the facility including in uneven terrain. Duties also require moving items up to 75lbs. The duties and responsibilities described are not comprehensive and additional tasks may be assigned to the employee as required. This position works on a 10-hr. schedule. 7a-5p on 5-6 days per week.
