The Department of Orthodontics in the College of Dentistry at the University of Illinois Chicago is seeking qualified candidate for a part-time, 12-month, non-tenure track position as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Responsibilities will include preclinical and clinical instruction in all aspects of Orthodontics, supporting clinic operations, instruct postgraduate students and participate in clinic administration and care of patients.

Candidate must have an accredited DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent, have completed an accredited specialty program in Orthodontics in the United States or Canada, be Board eligible in the orthodontic specialty, and should be eligible to obtain faculty licensure in Illinois. Preferred abilities include, previous university-level teaching experience, ability to mentor students, experience in evidence-based dentistry and curriculum development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to interdisciplinary care and willingness to engage other academic departments.
