Business Analyst

The Business Analyst focuses on the Connectivity Business Unit's (BU) activities which includes application management, RFQ monitoring, internal score card alignment, and Salesforce CRM. This position will be responsible for data collection, monitoring, analysis, and presentations to internal stakeholders.The candidate comprehends sources of data to identify trends, anomalies, and requirements to achieve metrics.

• Understand connectivity-related applications as they relate to promotion strategies and overall market trends.
• Translate data into understandable formats using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Monitor industry news and integrate relevant information into regular reports.
• Create and maintain scheduled reviews with appropriate teams, set action items and goals, progress follow up, and review results with team members and management.
• Understand and utilize internal digital tools such as PowerBi, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint, etc.
• Understand connectivity applications related to promotion strategies and overall market trends.
• Align team action items with corporate and local goals.

• Support sales and market development activities within the assigned business unit.
• Work requires the ability to analyze problems where established procedures may not exist.
• Perform other job-related responsibilities and duties as may be assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2+ years' job-related experience.
• Experience managing and analyzing substantial amounts of sales and market data.
• Demonstrated proficiency showing responsibility and capability for continuous improvement.
• Verbal and written communication skills, collaboration, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the capability for continuous improvement.
• Well-developed facilitation skills to work among individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds with the ability to be adaptable and accepting of ever-changing conditions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and typing skills for accurate data entry.
• Understand and utilize internal digital tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerBi.
• Strong interest in business-to-business account management of key customers.
• Experience in maintaining high levels of confidentiality with regards to company strategy and customers' information.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Bilingual in Japanese verbal and written communication skills.
• Detailed knowledge of Murata's technical and business operations.
