The EMS Liaison/Paramedic will serve as a vital link between our health system and local Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers. This position advocates for the hospital within private, local, regional, and state EMS agencies to strengthen partnerships and enhance collaboration. Additional responsibilities include:
Facilitating communication and cooperation across various care settings within the facility concerning EMS and public safety relations.
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal patient care and seamless integration between EMS and the hospital. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current and valid paramedic license issued by the State of Missouri. 2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 4. PALS and/or ENPC required 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 5. Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually. 6. 1 year EMS outreach experience preferred; 3 years EMS clinical experience preferred. #LI-KA1 Connect With Us!
