Job Purpose

The Operations Auditor is responsible for planning and executing on-site branch audits to ensure that Herc Rentals branches are following and sustaining key operational and financial controls. The Operations Auditor is also responsible for supporting branches via collaborative training and advising on controls and operating procedures.

What you will do...

  • Perform branch audit testing to assess operating effectiveness of controls in place, preparethe appropriate workpaper documentation, and conclude on effectiveness of controls
  • Serve as the primary interface with field management associated with assigned audits
  • Draft the auditreport including proactive action-orientated recommendations
  • Lead the discussion of audit issues with field personnel and co-develop actionplans to address them timely
  • Present issues and balanced conclusions that demonstrate in depth business knowledge of branch operating procedures
  • Train andprovide feedback to new members of the department, asappropriate
  • Provide training to the branch personnel on operational processes and initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years customer service or audit experience

Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000/year
