Job Duties: Associate, Risk Governance with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Chicago, Illinois. Manage all aspects of identifying issues, such as Technology Incidents, Operation Incidents, and Control Gap/Weakness, which can lead to actual or potential consumer harm or pose material reputational, regulatory, or financial risk to the Firm; issue identification entails root cause analysis, scoping, impact analysis, remediation, containment, resolution, reporting, including collaboration with issue owners, aggregation of issues across the business, and facilitation of executive reporting (systemic or manual) related to the Goldman Sachs Consumer Product. Partner with other business units and support teams to remediate issues and assist with implementation of corrective actions related to control failures and non-compliance with policies and procedures. Lead and deliver executive reporting and other data-driven deliverables, with a focus on providing appropriate content, context, and structure in a precise and timely manner. Manage and coordinate all aspects of audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, which entails liaising between internal audit teams and the Business to asses, evaluate, and report risks of potential or actual audit findings including observations made by auditors, highlighting areas of concern or issues related to financial reporting, compliance, or internal controls or procedures; audit engagements entail working with the Business to create remediation strategies that address the impact of findings, implement long-term resolution plans, and provide periodic progress updates on finding resolutions during weekly or monthly leadership meetings for governance purposes. Monitor progress and measure performance to identify areas for improvement. Focus on continuous improvement and evolution to meet changing requirements to support maximum visibility to the executive audience. Coordinate and facilitate the business controls meeting with key executive stakeholders. Gather and synthesize data to perform root cause analysis and determine thematic trends related to issues identified by the business first, second and third lines of defense. Work effectively with cross-function on issues in establishing communication plans and ensuring their execution. Automate manual reporting related processes by leveraging Excel Macros to save critical time. Train and lead new joiners by supporting onboarding activities, guiding them through business operations, goals, activities, and responsibilities, providing coaching and mentorship to assimilate culturally, driving engagement to identify improvement opportunities, sharing business updates, and assisting in problem-solving challenges they encounter. Transition periodic risk reports and data-driven dashboards to more intuitive, faster, and easier tools. Project key metrics for the business to conduct risk analysis using predictive data modeling and analytics.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Risk management, Business, Finance, Information Technology and Management or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with the following: project management, analytical and research skills with a demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception through completion; experience building reports and presentations using the Microsoft tool suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledgeable in collecting, organizing and managing data to support business proficiency, productivity and decision making; knowledge of data analysis techniques, including data manipulation, aggregation and summarization to derive actionable insight; proficiency in Data Visualization Tool, Tableau. Skilled in designing and creating easy-to-read and communicate visualizations for quantitative and qualitative business performance analysis; and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot table, VLOOKUP, macros, and pivot charts. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience with the following: knowledge of Risk management frameworks and regulations.
