Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled a senior Architect with 10 to 12 years of experience, who will play an Enterprise Architect role having strong skills in Java Microservices and Azure cloud technical areas. S/He should have experience in design and implementation of IT systems applications and infrastructure provisioning. S/He should collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs and provide technology solutions. S/He will be responsible for enterprise services ownership and manage entire tech team within the portfolio.

Responsibilities

We need a seasoned Java enterprise cloud Arch based out of Vegas (Location constraint) who can work with business partners finalize tech stack strategize projects along with management experience etc Lead the design and implementation of DevOps solutions to enhance the development lifecycle.

• Oversee the setup and management of DevOps environments ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Provide expertise in Java Fullstack development including Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Implement serverless solutions using DevOps practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate loyalty partner systems and manage loyalty cards and memberships.
• Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS GCP and Azure to deploy and manage applications.
• Develop and maintain mobile applications using Java for mobile devices ensuring high performance and user satisfaction.
• Ensure seamless integration of mobility solutions within the T&H domain.
• Drive continuous improvement in DevOps practices staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor and optimize system performance ensuring high availability and reliability of applications.
• Experience in IT architecture frameworks like TOGAF Zachman would be plus.

Qualifications

• technically strong along with program management skills (80% Technical + 20% Management).
• Must have extensive experience with Github and DevOps concepts solutions and setups.
• Should have strong expertise in Java Fullstack development including Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Must be proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure.
• Should have experience in mobile app development using Java for mobile devices.
• Must have domain experience in Mobility-T&H loyalty partner integration and loyalty cards and membership management.
• Should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a hybrid model.
• Must have strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge on Agile methodology Working Experience in Jira Scrum and confluence

Certifications Required

Certified DevOps Engineer AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 5/2/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $99,000/Year to $116,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
