Essential Functions

  1. Operate Gerber cutting machine (CAD cutting table) and layout each job to optimize the fabric use and cut it accurately to fill the order with patterns stored in the cutting machine's computer.
  2. Operate a sewing machine, utilizing different patterns that require multiple sewing techniques that may require additions such as adding a zipper or a welt. Stuffers/Packers
  3. Work manually or operate a stuffing machine based on the understanding of what SKUs they are working with
  4. Cutting material as well as other similar operations
  5. Installation of buttons.
  6. Proper labeling and packing techniques needed.
  7. Perform counting and inspecting of the product during the Breakdown process

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no positions reporting to it.

Physical Demands
The physical and work environment demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee will be required to manually lift and stack products that ranges from 5 pounds to 75 pounds. Must be capable of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, or walking for extended periods of time. The work element is in a temperature controlled environment. Must be able to work additional hours and up to seven days a week, as needed. Responsible for cutting and inspect the product for Lippert Interiors product.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are decided by production and your reporting Manager/Supervisor.

Travel

No travel required for position.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Experience operating a cutting CAD machine.
  2. Basic math skills addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Manufacturing/industry experience.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
