Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our dynamic team. As a TPM, you will lead and manage complex technical projects and programs from inception to delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, operations, and stakeholders. You will be responsible for driving alignment, tracking progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects that meet both business and technical objectives.

In this role, you will focus on leading programs and projects within the Commercial Segments, specifically in BP (Business Products) and CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods). The scope of your work will involve optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing decision-making through data-driven solutions, and driving operational efficiency across these segments. You will spearhead initiatives specifically targeting AI, ML, and generative AI use cases across key areas such as supply chain optimization, invoice and order digitization and automation, and real-time price forecasting

Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our GP Headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

What You Will Do
* Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to guide cross-functional teams.
* Coordinate with engineering, product, design, QA, and operations teams to define technical requirements and establish clear milestones.
* Drive the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and quality standards.
* Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular status updates and managing expectations.
* Identify potential risks, issues, and blockers, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
* Facilitate Scrum meetings, cross-team collaboration, and decision-making processes.
* Track program health, including key metrics such as timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
* Continuously improve internal processes and workflows to streamline project execution and enhance team productivity.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* 5+ years of experience in technical program management or project management, with a focus on large-scale, cross-functional engineering projects
* Experience managing and delivering technical projects within scope, on time, and within budget
* Experience leading cross-functional teams and navigating and resolving conflicts
* Experience building strong relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
* Experience using analytical skills to monitor and interpret project metrics to guide decision-making
* Experience with Agile methodologies/Scrum and proficiency in Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, AzureDevops, Trello)
* General knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and architectures

What Will Put You Ahead
* Experience in data processing, modeling, and movement, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* General knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
* General knowledge of data processing, automation, and scripting, as well as data modeling for both Big Data and Small Data use cases
* Experience working with large-scale distributed systems or enterprise-level applications
* PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications
