Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Newark, DE. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Work with IT and the Business and tech partners to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives Combine business and technology skills with strong leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills Serve as a servant leader and the ultimate facilitator between Business/dev partners and IT in truly understanding the needs and plays a key role in the overall management and success of a project through the entire project lifecycle Guide the team to be self-organized Will remove impediments and guide the team to resolve issues or escalate to leadership as needed Using proven methods and tools, this position leads the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating and managing of requirements, business processes, high-level solution design, test case design, and implementation planning and support - in partnership with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups May also be called upon to lead other IT project work based on changing project demands Enforce best practices for BA team including change management quality for the development team Requirements: Minimum of 7 years experience in a technical product manager role in a project-based environment Agile tools (Jira) Experience in working on multiple projects at the same time Intermediate Word Intermediate Excel Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies and working experience in agile tools like JIRA/Confluence Fluent in technology and strong knowledge of project and software development methodologies/techniques Solid presentation, facilitation, interview, and workshop skills Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills Desired skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 4 year experience in related field Good time management skills; ability to set priorities and meet deadlines Ability to communicate effectively at different levels within the organization, assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information Previous success working in a dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities Pay Range: $43.56-$51.56 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
