We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and the ability to manage various shipping and receiving tasks efficiently. Experience with foreign shipping and ITAR are mandatory. Shift: 1st Shift

Salary: Up to $26 Per/hr. based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR and foreign shipping regulations (Must have ITAR experience)
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized shipping and receiving area.
  • Promptly unload trucks and deliveries, and sort receivables.
  • Maintain accurate logs of daily moves, scan inventory, and count items accurately.
  • Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Ensure adequate supplies are on hand for the shipping area.
  • Support administrative tasks including tracking purchase orders and receiving slips.
  • Tag equipment upon receipt and track in inventory.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, retail, or customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with international and domestic shipping
  • ITAR and knowledge of foreign shipping compliance is a must
  • Proficiency in shipping via UPS/UPS WorldShip and FedEx, and utilizing their unique systems.
  • Ability to lift boxes of varying sizes and weights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
