Dematic is seeking a Director of North America (NA) Resident Services to lead teams of support engineers and technicians in assisting customers with Automated Material Handling Systems. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of software and/or controls while driving improvements in tools and processes to optimize the Resident Maintenance services.
This role will report to the Director of Customer Service Operations and will be based in the Eastern United States.

The salary range for this role is estimated to be $138,000 - $202,000 per annum. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Provide strong leadership to mentor, develop, and guide team members in achieving customer satisfaction goals.
  • Develop and lead the annual department budget to ensure business goals and operational stability are met.
  • Conduct effective resource planning to improve efficiency across people, technology, and other resources.
  • Ensure that critical metrics and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Improve processes and implement outstanding tools to boost team efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with all Dematic teams to proactively improve maintenance support and improvements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor internally and externally to achieve profitability and target goals.
  • Strengthen client relationships.
  • Build and manage influential relationships with customers.
  • Be open to traveling up to 30-40% of the time.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A proven leader with a deep understanding of the best maintenance practices and operational excellence.
  • At least 15 years of experience in maintenance leadership, including 7+ years managing leaders and agents.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of maintenance operations.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit evaluations.
  • The ability to handle high-pressure situations while effectively managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong customer-facing skills, particularly in stressful situations.
  • The ability to prioritize, delegate tasks, and ensure appropriate follow-ups.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is helpful.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and perform under pressure.
