Job Description

As Global Partner Manager at OTTO By Rockwell Automation, you develop and implement market access strategies and plans to grow market share through OTTO's global ecosystem of go-to-market partners (OEM machine builders, systems integrators, dealers, and distributors). This role is a hybrid direct contributor role wherein you will own select strategic account(s), plus you will act as a leader for the account managers of the OTTO partner ecosystem. Your leadership will establish good account management practices (focused on the uniqueness of the OTTO portfolio), influence knowledge sharing, influence account ownership assignments, facilitate enablement and improvements for the OTTO partner account management function, and you will be the liaison for the OTTO partner program within the broader Rockwell Global Market Access organization.

For your directly managed account(s), you will coach and challenge our partners to evolve by developing their OTTO capability and value-added services business and increasing annual revenue growth through increased market share. Reporting to the Global Director of Strategic Alliances, you will be accountable for an annual quota and responsible for assigned strategic partners. When not engaged in person with partners, this is a remote-friendly position based in United States.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create business strategies to grow overall sales and market share through the OTTO global partner network
  • Facilitate teamwork and foster good practices for all OTTO focused partner managers
  • Influence decisions about account management assignments and roles for the Rockwell partners that have or are building their OTTO capability.
  • Facilitate the enablement of partner account managers that choose to include the OTTO portfolio in their account management responsibilities
  • Responsible for reporting on the aggregate performance of the OTTO partner network, for all partner types.
  • Be the single contact for your partner accounts.
  • Manage the development of assigned partners and their performance.
  • Measure partner network performance and implement performance improvement programs.
  • Be the voice of the OTTO partner program within the Rockwell Global Market Access organization.
  • Ensure familiarity with company procedures. Apply procedures in compliance with government laws. Procedures include: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental).

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US or Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Typically requires 8+ year's experience in sales, industrial automation, material handling, systems integration or a related engineering firm
  • Experience selling services and/or Software (contractual and transactional) to manufacturing, warehouse & distribution, and/or logistics companies (headquarter locations and plants)
