Role Description & Responsibilities As a Graphics Software Engineer you will be a key member of the Solidworks Graphics Application team. * Develop, enhance and maintain new functionalities in the area of 3D realtime interactive rendering for our Solidworks mechanical design software. * You will work closely with Product Definition, user Experience, Quality Assurance and expert fellow team members to understand and define the scope of development. * You will push the software limits of what is technically possible with today's graphics accelerated hardware, in the domain of performance, visual fidelity and aesthetic. Qualifications * 3-5 years software experience * Masters degree preferred - Computer Science degree preferred * You must be proficient in modern C++ programming including the std extension library. * A deep understanding of a modern graphic API like OpenGL 4.6/Vulkan and associated shader programming. * Ability to design, implement, profile and troubleshoot software algorithms as part of an overall complex system and possess good programming skills. * Familiar with Windows development environment (Vsiual Studio IDE/C++), and GIT source control. * Passionate about real-time computer graphics, raster or path tracing, and the use of latest graphics technologies and hardware capabilities. * Excited at the sight of high framerates and interactive photorealistic effects that help our customers design their digital twin products quickly and intuitively. Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $98,316 and $140,000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
