What You'll Bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, finance/accounting, economics, math/statistics or an equivalent field.

  • A minimum of 3 years of prior experience as an Analyst that involve data retrieval, complex formulas, and financial forecast development.

  • Strong demonstrable business acumen is required to formulate data-driven insights and champion them into action.

  • Technical skill/knowledge requirements include: SQL, Tableau, R, advanced Excel, Power Point, Python

  • Proven communication and project management skills with ability to manage multiple project/products simultaneously are required.

  • This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

We're also looking for the preferred skills below. Whether you are proficient or could use some brushing up, we're happy to support your development in:

  • Support the strategic direction of the Tenant & Employment vertical. You will contribute to understanding our revenue drivers, revenue by solution, competitive positioning while creating and defending market potential assessments.

  • Analyze performance of various strategic initiatives using both quantitative and qualitative measures. Deliver insights and recommend actions that lead to profitable growth.

  • Quarterback an annual price assessment which includes competitive analyses, completing an analysis of existing customer price points, identifying opportunities for increases and adjustments and develops and executes on an implementation strategy

  • Compile revenue and product performance reports, analyze them, and deliver relevant insights and recommendations to executive leadership. Analysis will cover overall vertical and business segment level performance and benefits realization vs. KPI targets.

  • Work closely with Finance, Billing, and Application Support teams for all revenue and billing responsibilities. This includes working with our Chicago-based Finance and Billing teams to ensure forecasts align, apply rigid discipline and structure to quality assurance with billing, communicate out appropriately for any billing resolutions and ultimately ensure the revenue target is on track to the forecast.

  • Prepare presentations and stories to support strategic initiatives by building business cases that include rationale for strategy

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all strategic market analysis work with the Tenant & Employment, a rapid high growth vertical within TransUnion, from problem definition through the final deliverable.

  • Conduct market research activity by collecting and analyzing data.

  • Define and create meaningful business cases to support growth initiatives.

  • Develop forecasting models that translate qualitative information into fact-based results that lead to actionable recommendations.

  • Perform project management tasks including assigning projects, project plans, leading cross-functional teams.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $62,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
