Job Description:

The Quality Engineer 1 will support quality assurance activities in our ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility, working under the guidance of senior quality team members to maintain regulatory compliance and quality standards. This role will assist in implementing quality control systems, maintaining quality documentation, and participating in continuous improvement projects. The position involves learning our quality processes while helping to reduce defects, improve yield rates, and maintain product quality standards.

Annual Salary range of $87,000-$114,000 based on applicant profile.

  • Support ISO 9001 quality management system
    • Assist in documenting quality procedures
    • Help conduct system reviews
    • Learn and follow ISO standards
  • Assist with quality control procedures and testing
    • Follow testing protocols
    • Apply product acceptance criteria
    • Use inspection checklists
  • Participate in quality audits
    • Support internal audit activities
    • Assist with documentation preparation
    • Learn supplier quality processes
  • Monitor and report quality metrics
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Assist with root cause analysis
    • Help implement corrective actions
  • Learn quality procedures and best practices
    • Attend training sessions
    • Document quality processes
    • Apply learning to daily tasks

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Experience:

Required

  • 0-2 years of quality experience in manufacturing or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Fundamental understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools
  • Familiarity with quality management software and MS Office applications
