Position Title: Safety Specialist / Manager
Wage: Based on Experience A Safety Specialist/Manager job in Sheboygan, WI is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting audits, and leading safety training programs. Additionally, this role will focus on pollution prevention, waste reduction, and conservation efforts. Relocation is available for this role for qualified candidates. Safety Specialist/Manager job responsibilities include: - Collaborate with the Corporate Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) team to implement safety initiatives - Conduct safety audits, observations, and risk assessments to identify workplace hazards - Promote a culture of safety through regular communication, meetings, and awareness campaigns - Participate in incident investigations - Ensure accurate documentation of safety incidents - Analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement - Maintain expertise in key safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, PPE, and chemical handling - Assist in industrial hygiene monitoring and coordinate corrective actions if unsafe exposures are identified - Work with Engineering and Corporate EHS on safety management processes, including new equipment safety checklists and facility renovations - Coordinate supervisory and employee training programs to ensure compliance with safety requirements QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience a plus - 5+ years of experience in safety, environmental compliance, or a related field required - Strong leadership skills and ability to promote a culture of safety - Experience developing and facilitating safety training programs - Proficient understanding of OSHA/ANSI compliance If you are interested in this Safety Specialist/Manager job in Sheboygan, WI, please click APPLY NOW.
