Position Summary:

As our QC Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of components during the manufacturing process and prior to shipment. This involves verifying that all dimensions, tolerances, and materials adhere to the client's drawings and specifications with precision.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • Possess a minimum of one to three years of practical experience within a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of inspection methodologies, instruments, and apparatus utilized in the examination and evaluation of cable, harness, and/or electromechanical assemblies.
  • Apply Quality Assurance/Quality Control principles effectively to achieve stipulated quality objectives.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics proficiently, enabling the inspection and testing of finished goods against technical drawings and mandated standards with minimal supervision and technical assistance.
  • Collaborate efficiently within diverse Quality Assurance/Control and Manufacturing teams.
  • Communicate articulately with the QC Inspector Team Lead, Supervisor, Managers, staff, and colleagues.
  • Possess in-depth expertise in highly technical engineering principles and processes.
  • Apply Engineering knowledge and pertinent codes and standards to analyze and develop effective assembly systems, generate specifications, and deliver technical presentations to clients.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal proficiencies.

  • Inspecting and processing the necessary quality paperwork for an industrial manufacturing operation. All parts are custom made to the customers' specifications.
  • Must be able to read dimensions, material specifications and tolerances from a drawing
  • Must be able to use a variety of manual inspection and computer-aided inspection tools. Tools include calipers, tape measures, comparator and computer-aided inspection machines
  • Produce quality work on time to ensure associates observe in-line quality protocols. Execute in-line quality protocols, final QC processes, and IQC procedures
  • Inspect and test products per assigned work order (WO) and/or special instructions
  • troubleshooting during the process to eliminate test failures at final
  • Provide WO status to QC Inspector Team Lead
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Use appropriate forms for all materials transactions such as Return to Stock, MRB, Scrap
  • Sustain a safe and clean working environment
  • Performing other duties as assigned


Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $27.00 per hour. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
