Job Summary The Spectrum Reach Business Development Representative brings new direct business opportunities to life. The BDR is responsible for selling geo-targeted video advertising and digital search campaigns to small-to-medium size businesses within a specified territory. Primary platforms utilized to deliver these campaigns include CTV, linear cable, Spectrum News, Kernel Production Services as well as a host of traditional digital marketing tools. The BDR achieves sales and revenue goals through successful prospecting of new customers as well as outreach to current Spectrum internet customers not presently advertising. The BDR is responsible for generating sales through a variety of prospecting tactics and working every lead from initial contact to sale. BDRs excel through successfully contacting prospective clients, interacting with clients on-on-one, presenting effective campaigns to meet customer marketing goals, and gaining contractual agreement. Once closed, maintenance and renewal responsibilities move to an assigned Spectrum Reach Account Executive. The BDR is responsible for the development and implementation of a Territory Plan (under the instruction of the Sales Manager) which is designed to expand the customer base within their assigned territory.
