SUMMARY: The Distributed Control System (DCS) Technician will assist in designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining DCS and PLC control systems and their networks. RESPONSIBILITIES: Install operator workstations and printers. Install desktop operating systems and control system software. Install OT network cabling and other network equipment. Install control system hardware. Troubleshoot and provide technical support for the OT network, hardware, and software. Perform preventative maintenance where needed. Maintain required documentation. Assist Process Control Specialist. Performs other duties as assigned. Compliance with all policies and standards. Requirements An Associate's Degree in Industrial Automation, Instrumentation Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Experience with Yokogawa DCS systems is preferred. Possess a thorough understanding of network topology as well as private IP addresses to facilitate network design and configuration of all network devices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team. Strong communication (written and verbal) skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
