Senior Director, Enterprise Business Analysis

Job Summary:

The Sr. Director, Enterprise Business Analysis has leadership and strategic responsibilities related to maturing and overseeing the delivery of the business analysis function and associated capability, and establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE) to optimize operational efficiency and strategic alignment across our organization. This role will collaborate with various enterprise teams to ensure the successful delivery of high quality business requirements in an agile model.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and manage a team of business analysts to ensure the successful delivery of Enterprise solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholder leveraging an agile approach
  • Lead the transformation of the Business Analysis team to elevate its role as a strategic partner in driving business objectives and enhancing operational efficiency
  • Define and implement a roadmap for evolving the business analysis function to meet current and future business needs
  • Partner with key CareSource functional areas to create transparency and drive accountability within business areas, finance and IT for compliance with EPMO governance
  • Partner with EPMO Governance, Enterprise Delivery, Legal (Compliance/Regulatory), business and IT teams to ensure business process and requirements are aligned with the business goals on time and quality to enable optimal delivery of projects/programs for the assigned strategic pillar
  • Establish and lead a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Business Analysis that sets best practices, standards, and methodologies
  • Drive initiatives to streamline processes, improve collaboration, and foster innovation within the business analysis community
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the Business Analysis team
  • Oversee the execution of business analysis activities, ensuring quality deliverables that meet stakeholder expectations, regulatory requirements and legal compliance
  • Accountable for hiring, training, coaching, career and succession planning, performance appraisals and disciplinary actions, and motivating collaboration and performance
  • Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of business analysis processes
  • Perform any other job-related instructions, as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience; Master's degree preferred
  • Ten (10) years of experience in business analysis, with significant experience in a leadership role within a healthcare payer organization
  • Five (5) years management experience to include five (5) years of driving large strategic initiatives
  • Experience in leading transformational initiatives and establishing Centers of Excellence (CoEs)

Competencies, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations, regulatory requirements, and industry trends
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and delivering business value through effective business analysis practices
  • Understand the overarching healthcare payor business model as well as the intricacies and nuances of the functional business areas
  • Deep agile experience from Scrum to SAFe
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt and change priorities as the business needs change
  • Demonstrated competence in operational leadership, IT project management, and business analysis with strong abilities in relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability and proven record of success leading and mentoring teams
  • Proven ability to demonstrate attention to detail as needed to drive progress
  • Executive and strategic management skills
  • Excellent communication, business planning and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to effectively interact at all organizational levels working with stakeholders and external partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel

Licensure and Certification:

  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) and/or Project Management (e.g., PMP) preferred

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:
$159,400.00 - $279,100.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
