Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java and Microservice with a preference for those with a background in Finance and Accounting. This hybrid role requires a strong technical acumen and the ability to design and implement robust technology solutions. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel. Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and efficient technology architectures using Redis and Java.
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and engineers.
- Ensure the security and integrity of technology solutions by implementing best practices and standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the architecture.
- Develop and maintain documentation for technology solutions and processes.
- Participate in the planning and execution of technology roadmaps and strategies.
- Optimize system performance and scalability to handle increasing workloads.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business goals.
- Lead efforts to integrate new technologies and tools into existing systems.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in Redis and Java demonstrating strong technical skills.
- Have a background in Finance and Accounting which is a nice to have.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Show a proven track record of designing and implementing technology architectures.
- Have experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 3/4/2025. The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
