The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary The Department of Anesthesiology at Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated full-time ACNP/AGACNP or a FNP to work in the Anesthesiology Pain Treatment Service. The provider will serve as a member of a newly established acute pain management service at the NYP Allen Hospital with some coverage of the existing acute pain service at Columbia University Medical Center - Milstein campus. The primary responsibilities will be to provide initial consultation and follow-up for in-patients with acute pain management needs, as consulted by primary providers throughout the hospital. Typical patients will include complex spine surgery patients, general and orthopedic surgery patients, and medical patients with acute pain needs. NPs will report to the Director of Acute Pain Services for administrative purposes including scheduling, quality improvement, and continuing education. Responsibilities CLINICAL
