We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Python React Native Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and is open to occasional travel. The position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on our projects and contribute to our company's success.

Location: New Jersey - NJ

*Candidate is required to be in the office 3 days a week*

Roles/ Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Python React Native Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.

* Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.

* Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

* Help maintain code quality organization and automation.

* Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

* Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

* Implement security and data protection measures.

* Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

* Prepare and produce releases of software components.

Required qualifications:

* Possess strong expertise in AWS SQL React Native Spring Boot Java JavaScript and MySQL.

* Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

* Have a solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.

* Show proficiency in writing clean maintainable and efficient code.

* Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

* Have experience with version control systems such as Git.

* Display a proactive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

* Have experience with Agile development methodologies.

* Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

* Demonstrate the ability to work in a hybrid work model and adapt to changing environments.

* Be open to occasional travel as required by the project.

* Have a passion for technology and a desire to make a positive impact on society.

Certifications Required

* AWS Certified Solutions Architect: Good to have

Other Compensations:

Applications will be accepted until April 28, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
