The Opportunity at Hand
The LMT Intern would support and learn under the License Management Teams for both headwear and apparel in executing our business objectives to strategically drive short- and long-term growth amongst the big 3 licenses (College, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLS, Racing, International)
Projects & Task
- Hot Market: Assist in outlining strategy for Cap Machine. Analyze requests from Sales and work with the appropriate channels to execute requests in a timely manner. Work with Planning on a weekly basis to review cap machine blank inventory and identify any gaps/areas of concern. Participate in design reviews, development and launch prep.
- Licensor Requests: Fulfill needs for leagues, teams, and player associations. Request and build ROAL specs. Assist with executing GCP/CM requests to capitalize upon short-term revenue opportunities.
- Inventory Reports/Stock Catalogs: Run weekly inventory and ATP reports for all leagues. Identify obsolete, sell off, and residual opportunities. Update and maintain all stock catalog, MID/UPC files.
- Licensing Projects: Assist in development and execution of On-Court collections. Oversee all order entry and rush list requests. Organize swatches, prototypes, and inventory. Analyze key account, collection, and sales performance. Create, update and maintain tape guides. Manage product approvals and inputting data into correct systems.
- Apparel: updating and managing apparel processes
- Keep all sensitive matters confidential
- Other duties as assigned
What you will need to make an impact
- Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn and utilize new systems as needed
- Meticulous attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
- Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, email and in person
- Strong public speaking, group presentation, interpersonal and persuasion skills required

- Enthusiastic, pro-active, and positive person who manages change with urgency and persistence
- Exposure to the process behind consumer-facing events and marketing campaigns
- Experience working with programs like Concur & BI/SAP
Education and Experience
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors program within Business Administration or a related field
- Experience working in corporate environment or at retail, knowledge of Concur and SAP a plus

This role is 100% in-person and requires on-site attendance five days a week at our Headquarters building located in downtown Buffalo. The hourly rate for this posted position is $17/hr. and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
