Position Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated intern to join our Marketing Communications department and provide support to help achieve our video goals. As our Marcom Video Intern, you will work alongside our videographer to help us increase our short-form video library. Our intern will be expected to produce at least one final video that will be posted on the STERIS Life Sciences YouTube page as well as at least one video posted on LinkedIn. Key Internship Info: Dates: Summer 2025 (May-August) Location: Mentor, OH Work Environment: Hybrid What You'll Do as a Marketing Communications Intern: Help in the creation of short motion videos to support our products and services Support the marketing team in daily design production and trafficking tasks Work through design projects from concept through finished published assets Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities using the Adobe Creative Suite Assist with development of concepts and marketing strategies for promoting the work of the various business units Assist in updating brand guidelines The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed: Required: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program majoring in marketing, communications, digital communications, journalism, or other relevant major. Junior year requirements must be completed by program start (May 2025) Portfolio or collection of design samples in photography or video Knowledge of MS Office Products (esp. PowerPoint, Word) Creation of motion graphics using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and/or comparable video editing software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred: Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (esp. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Other: Strong desire to learn along with professional drive Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines Willingness and ability to work collaboratively Attention to detail, flexible and fast learner Passion for design/videography STERIS is a leading global provider of products and services that support patient care with an emphasis on infection prevention.
