Are you passionate about animal research, and the development of innovative biological solutions that promote health and sustainability in production animals? Then join our team of experienced Scientists and Research Associates based in Fayetteville (United States), Lyngby (Denmark) and China, where you will play a key role in driving and supporting application research activities at our poultry research site in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We are seeking a dedicated, team-oriented, and collaborative person to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with animals in a research setting, lead laboratory analyses, manage data collection and be heavily involved in sample collection efforts in our in-vivo trials. Collaboration is at the core of everything that we do, and our team works closely across functions, disciplines, and time zones to support both new and existing biosolutions. Leading the preparation for trial activities, including animal weighing and feed collection Overseeing bird husbandry, bird handling, animal weighing, feed collection and data management during trials Conducting laboratory analysis on biological samples Documenting and improving analytical procedures in the lab Managing data from the laboratory, and animal trials, ensuring quality and accuracy Assisting the scientific team with research activities related to efficacy trials, mode of action studies and animal model development Being a major collaborator in writing SOPs, protocols, and reports
To succeed you must have:
A BS/MS in poultry science, animal science, or biology is preferred. Microbiology, immunology, or a related discipline with a poultry background are also relevant. Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience for Research Associate II and minimum of 5 years relevant experience for Sr. Research Associate role. Hands-on experience with poultry husbandry and bird handling Familiarity with animal sampling preferred Practical laboratory experience, especially with immunological or microbiological assays is a plus Familiarity and interest for data collection, handling and management in a research setting A collaborative, positive mindset and with strong communication skills (verbal and written) Flexibility for local travel and a valid US driver's license Authorization to work in the U.S. now or in the future without sponsorship

Research Associate II: $53,000 - $64,000 Sr. Research Associate: $64,000 - $75,000
