What You'll Do
  • Prepare detailed bar lists to be used in the fabrication of reinforcement bars for each project
  • Assist with the research of detailing and field problems
  • Work effectively in a team environment to promote productivity
  • Identify and develop information required to inform management team and customers of any changes to the contract
  • Enter all drawings for submission into drawing tracking system
  • Enter all orders into business system and prepare reports to assist in management of projects
  • Produce accurate and detailed rebar placing drawings that conform to industry and company standards for various structures
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned, and requirements may vary from time to time
What You'll Need
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service to both internal & external customers at all levels
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematics, algebra, and geometry
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills to solve unique problems
  • Must be able to visualize three dimensionally (spatial visualization)
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective planning/organization
  • Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
  • Must be self-driven with an ability to respond quickly to client requests and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to use and understand basic linear measurements (i.e. feet, inches, decimals, and fractions)
  • Experience in rebar detailing, coordinating, or shop fabrication a plus
Your Education
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Satisfactory completion of Computer Aided Design software course a plus
