What You'll Do Prepare detailed bar lists to be used in the fabrication of reinforcement bars for each project Assist with the research of detailing and field problems Work effectively in a team environment to promote productivity Identify and develop information required to inform management team and customers of any changes to the contract Enter all drawings for submission into drawing tracking system Enter all orders into business system and prepare reports to assist in management of projects Produce accurate and detailed rebar placing drawings that conform to industry and company standards for various structures Additional responsibilities may be assigned, and requirements may vary from time to time What You'll Need Demonstrate exceptional customer service to both internal & external customers at all levels Must be able to perform basic mathematics, algebra, and geometry Ability to use critical thinking skills to solve unique problems Must be able to visualize three dimensionally (spatial visualization) High level of attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Effective planning/organization Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Must be self-driven with an ability to respond quickly to client requests and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and in a team Ability to use and understand basic linear measurements (i.e. feet, inches, decimals, and fractions) Experience in rebar detailing, coordinating, or shop fabrication a plus Your Education High School Diploma or GED preferred Satisfactory completion of Computer Aided Design software course a plus We are CMC, a Fortune500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
