Procurement Specialist needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work remote. Required Skills: Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers. Ability to perform effectively and independently in a virtual environment Must be able to handle multiple decisions based on workload dispersion, and program priorities Strong problem solving skills and ability to think strategically Proficiency to perform source selection/justification, with guidance as needed Ability to effectively manage job responsibilities with minimal supervision Ability to quickly assimilate new information, processes and tools Desired Skills: 2 years relevant experience in procurement/supply chain role. SAP Use standard computer systems focused on supplier management processes Experience working with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as knowledge of supply chain processes DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS) Desired Education (including Major): Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or similar discipline Employment Pre-requisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation, drug urinalysis, and verified compliance with Executive Order 14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors.
