Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is currently seeking an Associate Brand Manager to work on [ yellow tail ], USA's largest imported wine brand. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Associate Brand Manager will play a critical role in developing and executing brand strategies, focusing on brand awareness, consumer engagement, and market growth. This position is based out of our Stamford CT office and offers flexible work arrangements (approximately 2 days/week or 8x/month).

Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute strategic and annual marketing plans for [ yellow tail ]
  • Collaborate with Senior Brand Manager on above-the-line communications campaigns, including agency briefings, content development, and execution
  • Drive brand volume, share, and profit objectives aligned with overall brand strategy
  • Build consumer brand equity through integrated marketing strategies (advertising, promotion, PR, digital marketing, and experiential marketing)
  • Manage relationships with external agencies (media, influencer, PR) to achieve business objectives
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings with cross-functional internal teams and key supplier partner Casella, coordinating agendas, preparation, and follow-up actions to ensure effective communication and alignment
  • Conduct comprehensive market performance analysis, leveraging market data, activity evaluations, and brand research to generate actionable business insights
  • Monitor competitive landscape, including consumer promotions and tasting opportunities
  • Manage brand budget, including financial documentation and invoice processing
  • Partner with Insights and Business Intelligence team to identify growth opportunities
  • Support new brand and product line extensions through cross-functional collaboration
  • Partner with Channel Marketing Team to ensure all marketing materials maintain consistent brand standards across all channels
  • Provide responsive ad-hoc support to internal teams and supplier partners, addressing time-sensitive requests and supporting strategic initiatives as they emerge



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing; MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of marketing or media agency experience; Bev/Alc industry experience highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
  • Proven project management skills in fast-paced, multitasking environments
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with experience in syndicated data (IRI) preferred
  • Proficient in creating compelling marketing presentations and materials
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated leadership and team-player qualities
  • Strong understanding of financial P&L and budget management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
