What you'll do:

As an Relationship Manager 3, you will be responsible for managing our largest and/or most complicated client relationships and ensuring excellent client service and delivery to the client base. Will help drive product efficiency projects and may lead other business related projects. You will be assigned a book of clients that are managing CLO's and Leverage Finance Facilities. You will also be overseeing the day to day operations and reporting delivery to those clients done with the client service associates assigned to your deals. You may have direct management responsibilities for the client service associates - ensuring you are providing feedback and working with the team leader to conduct annual reviews.
  • In conjunction with business development officers, responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Corporate Trust clients with the primary focus of managing the value of these relationships to the organization.
  • Reviews and accepts new client relationships based on business line account acceptance policies and procedures.
  • Provides quality service based on client needs, wants, and expectations; aligns actions accordingly; remains sensitive and responsive to both internal and external clients; builds distinctive predictable levels of service; resolves problems quickly and effectively.
  • Works closely with new business development staff, serving as a collaborative business partner when supporting new business conversations from existing or prospective clients.
  • Identifies business risks and operational challenges and takes steps to mitigate risk and enhance operating systems and processes.
  • Coordinates the development and implementation of operational changes within the unit. May be responsible for meeting certain revenue, new business and expense goals.
  • May manage staff, hire new staff, and/or train staff to successfully meet business objectives.
  • Reviewing client reporting and working with clients and other interested parties on any issues or changes needed.
  • Making sure clients are getting the required information at all times. Responding to all queries from interested parties.

What you'll need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of corporate trust experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Preferred experience managing staff
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of administration of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) and Loan Financing facilities
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of trust agreements and related documents
  • Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences
